Hannenfass in Kaiserslautern

Racist juice shop, the morale of some employees is bad. Due to moral courage and work against racism, I was banned from the house. I was insulted by the bouncers, among other things, respect is probably a foreign word to them. Unfortunately I have to assign at least one star, I would prefer not to give one! Not recommendable!!!

Very nice service, delicious food and drinks

The bar itself has a nice atmosphere. However, the waiters we keep encountering with my foreign friends are very much rude. I stopped going there because the personnel were just too stuck up and rude.

In times of Corona, absolutely not recommended! The store was always my number 1 when partying! I'm disappointed! Medical certificates are simply not accepted! I have serious lung disease and MUST not wear one! In the end I was disrespectfully kicked out for not having the mask over my nose! It's no fun partying !! I prefer to go to other bars where you are still treated with respect!

Gorgeous classic football pub

Quaint pub, which in Lautern is an absolute veteran of the old town. Drink a meter with colleagues and enjoy the evening!

Good pub to go out in the evening. Due to the corona conditions, it is relatively difficult to get a place on the weekend. If possible, you should appear there earlier. The cushions indicate that you have to stay at your table, to go to the toilet and to smoke you have to put on a mask. A violation of the requirements will be resolved by the staff. But the staff is always friendly.

Unfriendly service, More than forgetful Not worth another visit

Probably the most disgusting toilets in town. A mixture of urine on the floor and odor of vomit. Unfortunately, no value is placed on cleanliness here. The waiter behind the counter was rude. A group of guests were kicked out because they didn't generate enough revenue in the eyes of the staff. The boss had given instructions to kick such guests out of the restaurant by means of a doorman. Not 1, but 0 stars

Ambience is mega, but beer costs too much

The waitress Leonie was unable to deliver a sprite within 1 hour. I wait for myself, an absolute no-go. When we mentioned that again when we left, she only said that I can call security.

I just had an excellent meal at Hannenfass! I got the baguette with chicken filet and everything about it was perfection! The chicken was perfectly cooked and flavorful and the baguette was fresh with perfect crispness on top. The süss weinschorle was also really good!

Atmosphere great, but I find the drinks overpriced.

Anyone who thinks baby floors and smell of vomit is cool is right here 😂

The food is so and so: the portions are not that big, and the taste is nothing special. Beer was fine, prices also very good. Central location.

That will and always stays there. Especially the whole staff is always friendly

This place was great, I got the XXL Moscow mule and it was completely worth every penny! I would be going back for pizza and my new favorite drink

Super shop, unfortunately two star deduction for the missing option with card to pay. We really no longer live in the Middle Ages ... And the devices nowadays really cost no more money.

Great place to go with friends.

The straw barrel was rebuilt after the devastating fire. The new Hannenfass resembles the old one. It is a pity and planning has probably failed or the money was all that the toilets, which are also the neighboring pubs, restaurants are still catastrophic. Otherwise, still good audience, of all generations. Staff young and very busy.

Place is definitely packed on weekends, as they now offer live music in the 2nd floor. Kaiserslautern's mini Oktoberfest.. including the funky smells. Growing to be one of my favorites.

Beer by the meter was great. The dance floor upstairs was on point. If your from the us, remember there is no drinking age in Germany, and there are a lot of people we would think of as underage in the bar.

Cozy pub with party ambitions. Throughout the day, there is a quieter, dignified atmosphere in which to enjoy Krefelder. In the evening the music is turned on and half Kaiserslautern returns to drink and celebrate. On the upper floor there is also a dance floor and a second bar. The shop is extremely busy in the evening, especially on weekends. If you want a table that should book on time. The audience is consistently positive. I have not noticed any idiot there all nice people there also older semester find a place here. The music is made of the best of the last 20-30 years but also times an 80s lands in the list. For my taste a bit too loud to talk to. Prices are fair designed. I like to be there.

Very good place to hang out with your friends. It's not just a bar, they have a kitchen as well.

Great place. If I was a single guy, this is where I would be every Friday. Be sure to order the Meter of Beer. Comes out to about 4 beers for 17.50€. Lots of Americans unfortunately.

Fully restored from the fire that destroyed the original in 2016, not much has changed in the Hannenfass. It is a bit brighter, and there is better lighting, but almost everything looks as had for decades before the catastrophe. They still have the same beer and meter boards too, so go check it out!
